Volunteering at Save a child’s heart has been an incredible experience. The children exemplify courage, resilience and optimism demonstrating the power of laughter and music to heal. Being greeted everyday with over 20 hugs from children genuinely happy to see you is euphoric, their positivity contagious. Seeing the children’s face’s light up when arriving in the mornings was always the highlight of my day. I am proud to have been a small part of an important organization and contributed to the work done by SACH. I hope the children gained as much enjoyment and fulfilment as I have. It has been a privilege to work alongside the other volunteers and staff and will always be grateful for the experience.
