Symphony of the Heart

Save a Child's heart has begun saving lives... with music! The Symphony of the Heart is an event being held around the world over the past two years that allows incredible talents to volunteer their musical skills to help raise money for Save a Child's Heart. The funds raised from the past 3 concerts have given children from developing countries with heart disease a new lease on life. The children have been flown from around the world to Israel, have undergone lifesaving heart surgery at Wolfson Medical Center, have recovered at the children's home, and have since returned home healthier than ever before - often healthy for the first time in their lives.

The Symphony of the Heart was an idea brought to us Robert Baruch, a member of our board in the Netherlands and now the Special Advisor and Events producer for Save a Child's Heart. His ability to dream big and his passion for our mission motivated him to secure performances by well-known and high-level talent. We have Robert to thank for the events' successes and for more children's lives saved.

“Save a Child’s Heart is my source for inspiration and sanity, in a world where self-interest too often prevails. To be able to produce events, like Symphony of the Heart, together with so many volunteers and so much goodwill, bringing together an audience that respects humanitarian values, is rewarding beyond words.” -Robert Baruch

Robert studied Business Administration in Switzerland and in the USA (Babson College), was an international marketing manager for a US multinational, and was the CEO of his family business (chemicals) for many years.

He is currently a board member of his company, is active as an informal investor, and gives much of his time to Save a Child's Heart as the Special Events Producer, also advising us in the fields of strategy and fundraising among other things. Robert is a board member of Save a Child’s Heart in the Netherlands.

We have now had 3 wonderful Symphony of the Heart concerts, in: Tel Aviv (Israel), Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and Los Angeles (the United States). Most importantly, though, we are thrilled to announce that we have 2 coming up next year! On February 6th & 7th of 2019 there will be major events in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem (Israel). We hope to see you there, ready to make a difference!
