The International Medical Education & Simulation Center (IMESC) will serve as a center dedicated to the advancement of medical education within the new Save a Child's Heart International Pediatric Cardiac Center and Sylvan Adams Children’s Hospital in its capacity as a teaching hospital and affiliation with the Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine. The center will promote a higher level of medical education and excellence with a better standard quality of care, reducing risk to patients through training by way of simulation. The IMESC’s specialization in pediatric cardiac care will enable the continued development in this field as part of SACH's international humanitarian mission to improve pediatric cardiac care worldwide by creating centers of competence with trained medical professionals.
The IMESC will feature simulative medical technologies and realistic scenarios that will allow medical professionals a safe place to learn and advance their skills. This will improve patient care and safety and will also be a place to try out new techniques and equipment before it is introduced to clinical practice in the various departments.
Save a Child’s Heart is proud to be able to help those in need today but invest in the future of pediatric medical care in Israel and beyond.
