On March 4, 2008, Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) held a one-day screening mission to Jordan, examining 30 Iraqi children.

The clinic is coordinated with Shevet Achim, a Christian organization working with SACH that partially funds the treatment of Iraqi children and coordinates the travel arrangements of the Iraqi and Palestinian children.

The clinics take place at the Red Crescent Hospital in Amman and are facilitated by Dr. Mohamad Al-Hadid, President of the Red Crescent hospital in Amman and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Geneva. SACH is planning an additional screening mission to Jordan in order to examine children from Iraq during October 2008.
