Executive Director’s whirlwind visit to the US

Simon Fisher, Executive Director of Save a Child’s Heart flew from Israel to the US for an intense week of meetings lobbying for Save A Child’s Heart. He met with Mending Kids International US and Italy and Open Heart International Australia our partners for the Mwana Tanzania project. He also spent time at the World Bank advocating for SACH and met up with the SACH US team and board members.

The highlight of the visit however was immensely personal. Simon visited Delores and Ovadiah Cohen, the beloved parents of the Late Dr Ami Cohen, founder of Save A Child’s Heart at there home in DC, with his beloved sister Carmi and widow Deborah Cohen who is a member of the SACH board . They shared their memories of Ami and reminisced about the early days of Save A Child’s Heart.
